The role of the Chinese accountants, opportunities and challenges facing ahead are the key issues

that we are most concerned about. We feel honoured to have invited officials, experts, entrepreneurs,
representatives from accounting professional bodies to analyse and address our key concerns. In order to
gauge the views of Chinese accountants worldwide about the Belt and Road initiative, a large scale online
survey has been jointly conducted by the SCAA and the Research Centre for Sustainable Hong Kong at
City University of Hong Kong, the results of which were announced in early May. Moreover, on the Opening

Ceremony, SCAA has formally announced the launch of a global platform uniting all Chinese accountants for
            future collaboration.

Executive of HKSAR, Mr Shen Chong, the Director-General of the Liaison Office of the Central People's
